"This program has completely changed my mindset."

During my journey with Kate Pfeifer Fitness I’ve learned a lot! I’ve learned a lot about myself and what I’m capable of making myself do and what I want to do for myself! I’m grateful that I’ve learned self discipline in not under eating and knowing what foods fuel my body the best! Through this fitness journey I’ve also realized that I can push myself a lot farther than I thought before! It was easy for me to tell myself that I wasn’t that overweight and so then I didn’t have to finish the entire workout or do cardio every other day. Through this healthier lifestyle change I’ve realized that no, I’ve never been overweight majorly but I was very unhealthy! Just because the weight on the scale didn’t qualify me as obese didn’t mean that the weight on my body was good or healthy for me.  From learning what foods to eat to fuel my body and what workouts make my body feel good and make me feel proud of myself I’ve learned that this program has completely changed my mindset in a positive way on my mental health, physical health, and confidence! This program has reminded me that the weight on the scale doesn’t account for how much more I’m able to do and how much muscle and strength my body has gained! From running to a code at work without being winded to shed hunting with my husband up and over the hills without having to stop and catch my breath! This program has increased my joy in my life all around by making me happier with MY body ♥️

"Not only transformed my body.."

Working with Kate has truly changed my life over the past year. When I had my consultation call with her I was a few weeks into lockdown and feeling horrible about myself. I told her that my biggest goal was to feel confident enough to go wedding dress shopping later that year. Within the first few months of working with her my attitude was completely changed and I started to feel really good about myself, even though there wasn't any dramatic change. At my dress shopping appointment I felt incredible and was able to feel completely comfortable with every style of dress and even picked one without sleeves which I would have never done before! Kate has not only transformed my body, but also my mind and my spirit. I look forward to her workouts and love how customized they are to challenge me, but also that she is willing to take out moves I start to hate so the workout is always fun to me. The past year has been extremely hard and I'm so happy I found Kate and know things will only get better from here!

"I now know what makes me feel my best."

To say that KPF has changed my life would be an understatement!  My outlook on health, nutrition, and overall wellness has absolutely evolved since starting with KPF.  Before KPF, I was working out 6 times a week with a combination of lifting, HIIT, Cross-Fit, and the occasional yoga class.  I also had a huge fear of taking a rest day.  I pushed myself to my physical limits all the time, but I was never happy with my physical or mental health.  EVER.  

Another huge factor was my nutrition.  It was horrible.  I was a “weekend warrior”, and excess restriction followed by binge eating was pretty much all I knew.  I tried so many diets -- low carb, low fat, low calorie, guesstimating my macros, drinking “magic” detoxes, drinking “miracle” shakes, etc.  And, nothing worked.  There was no balance in my eating habits. 

Then, I turned 30 this past year, and I knew something had to change.  I was sick and tired of being sick and tired.  So, I signed up with KPF.  Because of KPF, I now know what makes me feel my best.  That is lifting 3-4 times per week and daily body movement.  That is following a slight calorie deficit and adhering to macros that actually work for my body.  That is incorporating my favorite foods and enjoying drinks while not overdoing it.  That is making myself a priority.  That is choosing my long-term health.  

I am finally in the best shape of my life, physically and mentally, at 30 years old.  I cannot thank KPF enough for opening my eyes to long-term health and wellness.  Invest in KPF if you want to invest in yourself!

Making the choice to start working with KPF was one of the best decisions I ever made for myself- both physically and mentally. I have never felt better about my body and the way I feel. My relationship with food has completely changed. I have learned that the number on the scale does not mean everything and is not the only measurement of progression. The program is so easy to follow. I love being in a group with the other clients to ask questions and give motivation/support when you are having an off week. Kate is always there to push you towards your goals and adjust things for you as needed. She creates a plan around what works best for your life and sets you up for success. I am constantly learning and growing each week. I am so thankful for Kate and the KPF team!!

"Cannot imagine like without this program

Two years ago, I fell and broke both my elbows and my left foot. Those two seconds cost me, three days in the hospital, one month completely immobile (couldn’t even go to the bathroom by myself!), one surgery, nine months of physical therapy. Before my accident, I was in the best shape I had been in, with a consistent workout routine. I have spent most of my life trying to find the right balance and was shattered to learn that my progress would be derailed. I spent the next year watching what I ate because physical activity was very limited (long walks made my foot swell for two days and my doctor would not allow any upper body movement until I healed). At the end of 2019, I wrapped up physical therapy and was cleared to workout. I was so excited to start working out again and get back in my routine.  However, what I didn’t was: 1) my body had completely changed, and I would have to rebuild every muscle 2) a national pandemic was going to hit. For the first few months of the pandemic, I was consistent with the at home workouts, but I didn’t see any results. Eventually, I let my nutrition slip as food and alcohol became my only indulgence while being stuck at home. It all caught up with me and the turning point was on 4th of July. I took a picture with my boyfriend; he was hugging me from behind and it literally looked like a pregnancy announcement. I laughed about it with my friends but deep down I was shattered. At that point, I knew I needed help and reached out to Kate.

Initially, I signed up with Kate thinking that I would buckle down for 3 months, meet my goals, and get back to my old routine. However, I am starting month 7 and cannot imagine life without her program. In the beginning, I was very hard on myself because I did not see that “quick fix.” Looking back, I understand how important it is to go slow to create a lifestyle. Instead of overwhelming me on day 1, Kate started small and each month we added on more to create habits that have turned into a lifestyle. I am better equipped with the right tools so I can create a balance that allows me to indulge, but also stay on track. For the first time, I am looking forward to bikini season to show off all my hard work.  

I did not realize how much I would gain from this program. Kate continually approaches me with warmth, compassion, support, and encouragement. There are weeks where I am not as motivated or committed. Rather than scolding me, Kate motivates me to get back on track and move forward. It is refreshing to know that I can have off weeks and be okay. I am so excited for what is to come and look forward to continuing to work with Kate and the rest of the KP Fitness team. "Feeling so much better"

I started working with Kate in June of 2019. At the end of 2018 I was the heaviest I’d ever been and despised even getting dressed because nothing fit me anymore. I had previously been a very athletic person, but having a desk job really caught up to me. I tried lots of cardio (running) at the beginning of 2019 but I saw minimal progress. I joined a gym but felt uncomfortable and unguided. Then in June I started a six week program with Kate. With her guidance (and the accountability of having a group of girls working towards the same goal) I had an amazing six weeks! I was not only looking but FEELING SO MUCH BETTER!!! I couldn’t be happier with my results and experience, so I chose to stay on with her for another 3 months. Having the personalized workouts and her holding me accountable anytime I was on the less motivated side, has been invaluable to my current health and my future habits. Kate is extremely encouraging and pushes me to achieve the goals we have set in the most positive way. She’s always willing to change up the workouts to what feels best for me at the time, or to focus on what I still see as my “problem” areas. And I’ve done it all at home- STRENGTH TRAINING... AT HOME!!! It’s possible!!!!! I would definitely recommend Kate- to clients local for her in Cali, or those states away in IL like me! She has changed my view of fitness and I seriously can’t thank her enough for all she has helped me accomplish. Thank you, Kate!!!

"Best relationship with food that I ever have"

I’ve been self conscious of my health and my body for as long as I can remember. Since freshman year of high school I have been messing with my food intake trying to figure out what works and not losing any weight or really gaining any muscle even when I worked out 6 days a week. I’ve been working with Kate for about 6 months now and she has changed my life. Not only am I the most confident in my body that I have ever been, I also have the best relationship with food that I ever have. "Most empowering experience I've been apart of!"

I’ve been a yo-yo exerciser/dieter since college. About 2 years ago, I finally started dedicating myself to health & fitness! I thought I had a pretty good base of knowledge & lost 25-30 pounds in a short amount of time! However, I hit a plateau & wasn’t losing anymore weight & not seeing much difference in the mirror...it was very defeating. I was only eating 1000-1200 calories/day, so I was stumped at what I was doing wrong. After doing random Instagram workouts and diets, 

 

I finally started to invest seriously in my health & fitness and Kate was the first and only person I wanted to work with because she’s so real and knowledgeable! I started with Kate in March and couldn’t be more thrilled! Kate has taught me I can eat MORE food to fuel my body! I’ve learned a different way to train my body & I’m so much happier & energetic because of it! Kate has provided me with the knowledge I need to sustain a lifestyle choice without giving up the foods/drinks I love! 

 

She’s all about living your life & loving your program & it’s the most empowering experience I’ve been apart of! During a global pandemic & being restricted to indoor workouts, I’m in the best shape of my life. With only a 3 pound difference according to the scale, I’ve never been happier with how my body LOOKS and FEELS. 

 

The scale is not your ONLY measurement of progress and Kate is so amazing about reminding her clients of that! One of the best decisions I’ve made to date was joining Kate’s program.

"She developed a plan for me"

When I started working with Kate about a year ago.  I had seen her workouts on Instagram and finally made the decision to start a plan that was based on my self.  The first time I talked with Kate we discussed my lifestyle and goals I had for myself.  I remember telling her I wasn't going to give up meat and beer.  (Some Midwest girls can't be changed).  Kate just laughed and said I wouldn't have to.  She developed a plan for me and even sent me over recipes. She has taught me the right portions to eat for my body type. Not only has Kate helped me with my physical appearance but also with my confidence and mental health.  I've lost around 40 lbs and am now gaining it back in muscle.  Working with Kate has been the best experience.  I love telling people about my journey and how I got here.  I always direct them to her.  Kate is one who will never make you feel bad about stepping off the plan but will guide you back to the right path.  Thanks to her I've never been more proud to put on a swimsuit or talk to someone new at a bar.  I am so happy with my results and have loved working with Kate even after all the burpees and lateral raises.

"Changed my life for the better"

I’ve struggled with my weight & positive body image for as long as I can remember. I lost 30 pounds in high school, kept it off through college, and then slowly gained it back the last few years. After getting engaged a year and a half ago, I was excited to plan my dream wedding, but was dreading going dress shopping. Well, I fell in love with my dream dress, but I wasn’t in love with my body. I kept thinking I didn’t want to look at my wedding pictures and not love the way I looked, so I reached out to Kate. We talked on the phone about my goals and how we could obtain them in the few months we had together. I started her program June 1st with a goal to lose 15-20 pounds by November 9th. Kate developed an eating plan that revolves around the foods I enjoy, and she created workouts that were easy to follow. Kate was always available to answer all my questions & and was there to push me towards my goal. I lost a total of 19 pounds, and I am genuinely happy with the way I look for the first time in years. Kate changed my life for the better, and for that I am grateful.
